Every 3,000 miles? Probably not
Many newer cars on synthetic oil go 7,500 to 10,000 miles between changes. Your owner’s manual or oil life monitor has the real number. Towing, short trips and stop-and-go driving bring it down.

From Stagecoach we’re 16 to 20 minutes away: Decker Prairie Rd, then TX-249 into Tomball. Oil changes, brake repair, car AC and suspension work, with a body shop in the same building for dents and rust.
Stagecoach is a small town in Montgomery County, built along an old stagecoach route on the east bank of Sulphur Creek. Our shop on Calvert Rd in Tomball is 9.1 miles away, usually 16 to 20 minutes: Stagecoach Rd to Decker Prairie Rd, then TX-249 south into Tomball, off at Medical Complex Dr and on to Calvert Rd.
For an oil change, we use the oil your owner’s manual calls for. If we spot something else while the car is in, like a leak or worn brakes, we tell you and you decide.
Brakes, car AC and suspension are done here too, and the body shop handles dents, rust and paint. Not sure what the car needs? Call 936-661-2675 and describe what it’s doing.
