If your vehicle is registered in Harris County, it needs a yearly emissions test (gas vehicles 2 to 24 years old). Waller County isn’t an emissions county, so vehicles registered there don’t.

The shortest is Waller-Tomball Rd (FM 2920), which starts in Waller and runs straight into Tomball, then Calvert Rd: 18.9 miles, usually 26 to 40 minutes.
