Car Dent Repair and Bumper Repair in Tomball
We’re a restoration and collision shop first, but we do the small jobs too: mirror repairs, scratches on your car, bumpers and small dents.
We repair the panel and match the paint so the repair blends in with the rest of the car. Some shallow dents can come out without paint at all; others need the panel straightened and painted. We’ll tell you which from your photos. Looking for car dent removal near you in Tomball? Text the photos to 936-661-2675.
We’re independent and not in a contract with any insurance company, so we work for you, not them. If you’re claiming, we deal with the insurance company for you.
Find the Right Fix for the Damage
A scratch, a dent and a cracked bumper each need a different repair. Here’s what each one involves and how to tell which one your car needs.
Car Dent Repair
Car dent repair depends on two things: whether the paint is broken and how sharp the dent is. A shallow dent with unbroken paint may come out with paintless dent removal. A dent with cracked paint or a sharp crease needs the panel straightened, filled and repainted.
What is paintless dent repair?
Paintless dent repair (PDR) massages the dent out from behind the panel. It only works when the paint isn’t cracked and the metal isn’t stretched.
How much does car dent repair cost?
Depends on the size, the location and whether the panel needs painting. Dents on body lines and panel edges take more work.
Do car dent repair kits work?
Suction and glue-puller kits can lift soft, shallow dents. They can also crack the paint or leave high spots that cost more to fix.
Can hail damage be repaired?
Hail leaves many small dents across the roof, hood and trunk. Light hail damage is often fixed with PDR; heavy hail can mean new panels. It’s usually an insurance claim.
Signs: Door dings · parking-lot dents · creases from minor bumps.
Car Scratch Repair
Car scratch repair depends on how deep the scratch goes. Car paint has layers: clear coat on top, then color, then primer and metal. A light scratch in the clear coat can often be polished out. A deep scratch needs the area painted.
Can a scratch repair kit fix a deep scratch?
A kit can hide a deep scratch, but it rarely makes it invisible. If you can catch a fingernail in it, it’s through the clear coat and needs paint to fix properly.
Do scratch repair pens work?
Touch-up pens fill small chips and stop rust. On a long scratch they usually leave a visible line.
How much does car scratch repair cost?
Polishing costs much less than painting. Painted repairs are blended into the panels around them so the color matches.
Can a key scratch be repaired?
Key scratches are usually deep and run across several panels, so they normally need paint on each panel.
Signs: Fingernail catches = needs paint · bare metal showing = fix it before it rusts.
Car Bumper Repair
Most modern bumpers are a plastic cover over a metal or foam reinforcement. Scuffs, small cracks and dents in the plastic can usually be repaired and repainted. A torn cover, broken mounting tabs or damage behind it can mean bumper replacement.
How much does car bumper repair cost?
Repairing a scuffed or cracked bumper usually costs less than a new one. Parking sensors and cameras add to the job if they’re damaged.
Should I repair or replace my bumper?
Repair it if the cover is scuffed, dented or has a small crack. Replace it if it’s torn, badly cracked or the mounting tabs are broken.
Can I fix a cracked bumper with a repair kit?
Plastic repair kits can fix a small crack from behind, but you still need paint on the outside to make it look right.

Signs: Scuffs from parking · cracks at the corners · bumper hanging loose.
Side Mirror Repair
Side mirror repair can be just the glass, just the cover, or the whole mirror. Newer mirrors often have heating, power folding, turn signals or blind-spot lights inside, which changes the part and the price.
How much does side mirror repair cost?
Glass only costs the least. A full mirror with heating, signals or a camera costs more, and the cover may need painting to match.
Can I replace just the mirror glass?
Stick-on replacement glass works for a cracked mirror with no heating. Heated glass needs the right part with its connector.
What do I do if my side mirror is hanging by its wires?
If the mirror is hanging by its wires, tape it in place to stop it swinging. Driving with it loose usually breaks the wiring too.
Where can I get a side mirror repaired?
Mirror repairs are one of the small jobs we do in the same shop as collision and paint work.
Signs: Cracked glass · broken cover · mirror loose or not folding.
Collision Repair
When the damage goes past a dent or a bumper, it’s collision repair: panels, frame, lights and paint. We handle that in the same shop. See our auto body and collision repair page for the full picture.
Can you handle my collision repair with insurance?
We’re not in a contract with any insurance company, so we work for you. If you’re claiming, we deal with the insurer for you.
Do you do collision repair on classic cars?
Classics need panels repaired or sourced, not just swapped, and paint matched to an older finish. Restoration and collision are what our shop does first.
Signs: Damage across more than one panel · lights or structure damaged · car pulls after an accident.
